My verdict on Scrooge Casino
After a few days of testing Scrooge Casino, I just couldn’t imagine recommending it to any player type. Scrooge Casino’s main strength is the varied game catalog, but all the best sweepstakes casinos have that quality, and then some.
Granted, I did get the Scrooge bonus: 2,000,000 Gold Coins and 250 Sweeps Tokens. What really rubbed me the wrong way with Scrooge Casino was the nonstop push to buy tokens. It felt like I was playing one of those free mobile games that make their money off ad spam. Scrooge Casino sits right on the edge of what I’d call acceptable when it comes to no deposit bonuses. The deal is pretty standard value-wise. What gave it a couple of extra points in my book is that the ST currency is a bit inflated. (100x sweeps tokens at normal social casinos.) So, I get more breathing room while playing at lower stakes and can move around the game library a little more. But the constant pop-up push to buy? No thanks. I wasn’t too thrilled with the mixed info I got from Scrooge Casino. The clearly say the minimum redemption is 10,000 ST, but when I spoke to a rep, they mentioned crypto starts at 5,000, which would’ve been nice to know earlier. I had already burned through my bankroll trying to reach 10k ST.
