By this time next year, the third floor of one of Milwaukee‘s most prominent casinos could be the place to play. A new $100 million Potawatomi Casino renovation will be the reason if that proves the case.
In addition to the new ambiance and amenities, the overhaul of the casino’s third floor will bring new gambling options for guests. Those should appeal to all players regardless of budget or preference.
Wisconsin Potawatomi Casino renovation details
Late Monday, the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee tribal casino‘s third floor. The designs include a robust remodel of the gaming operations there.
The new gaming floor will offer over 1,800 slot machines to patrons. Among those will be 28 available in a bar-top setting. In addition, all patrons will have access to new cashier stations and a Fire Keepers Club booth.
Regulars to the casino will enjoy a new area just for them. An exclusive high-limit room will offer a craft bar, exclusive entertainment, and a high-end kitchen that boasts a brick oven. At some point, guests should expect a retail sportsbook as well.
The tribe and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers already negotiated a compact amendment to allow for in-person Wisconsin sports wagering at both Potawatomi casinos. However, the US Dept. of the Interior still needs to approve the amendment as well.
New design elements on the third floor will include 4K televisions, video walls, LED lighting, and a modern sound system. While players could easily amuse themselves with all the new gaming options, one is liable to work up an appetite eventually. The casino has that covered.
New dining options are on their way as well to Wisconsin
In addition to three distinct quick-service beverage and food stations on the third floor, the casino is introducing two new restaurant options to guests as part of this renovation. One of them is a familiar favorite.
The Wisconsin casino will host a full-service Starbucks off the skywalk entrance. It will be the first time a Starbucks location has landed at the casino. Across the foyer will be a new dining concept paying tribute to an entertainment legend.
The “Rock & Brews” is a creation of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the band KISS. In addition to craft beer, the restaurant will offer live music on a dedicated stage. Simmons and Stanley will appear at a groundbreaking ceremony for the restaurant on Wednesday, May 11.
At this casino in Milwaukee, this is all the upgrades that $100 million will buy. If the renovation proves successful, it could be worth every penny.
