After entering Arizona in June, Lotto.com is debuting in Massachusetts.

Entrance into the Bay State will serve as the 11th state it has ventured into.

Key takeaways

  • Lotto.com has launched its online lottery platform in Massachusetts, its 11th state.
  • Lotto.com plans to enhance community funding through incremental revenue.
  • Massachusetts has transitioned from analog to digital, launching its first digital scratch ticket, allowing players to order official lottery tickets online.

Massachusetts enters digital era, at least for lottery tickets

Massachusetts moved from analog to digital since launching scratch tickets in 1974, making it 50 years. This is the first time the state will sell digital scratch tickets. Now players can:

  • Order official lottery tickets online.
  • Play Powerball, Mega Millions, and more.

Lotto.com lets you order and play official state lottery scratch tickets at home, on the go, or on any device you prefer, either on your laptop, phone, computer, or tablet.

Launch to enhance community funding

In a Lotto.com press statement, Chief Executive Officer Thomas Metzger said he hopes his company will serve as a valuable entity to the state. The state has one of the best-performing lotteries in the US and will contribute significantly toward state-run programs.

“We are thrilled to launch in Massachusetts, the best performing lottery per capita in the country. We also look forward to bringing incremental funding to the communities across the Commonwealth that the Lottery s.”

Lottery dollars make a real difference in Massachusetts. Each year, the state lottery distributes millions to cities and towns without restrictions. Local leaders can fund essential services, improve infrastructure, or community programs.

The 2023 payout was $1.2 billion.

Lotto.com is hands-on with its expansion objective

The Jersey City-based Lotto.com is the pioneering platform making lottery tickets more accessible than ever. Lotto.com stats are impressive:

  • 2 million+ customers
  • Contributed $120 million+ to state-funded initiatives
  • Created six millionaires through state-run games
  • Made history with a $3 million digital scratch ticket win in Colorado

The 11 states where Lotto.com has its service running include Texas, Ohio, New York and Nebraska.

The operator has also said this is just the beginning, as it plans to expand into other states.
