US lottery supplier Jackpocket launched a third-party app in Idaho, offering lottery fans in the state a new way to play. While online lottery sales remain illegal in the state, Jackpocket’s service provides a sort of “work-around” that digitizes players’ experiences in some ways.
More precisely, the launch will allow a secure way for Idaho players to order state lottery tickets via their mobile devices. The news follows the US Powerball and Mega Millions lottery games reaching a combined jackpot total of $900 million.
Jackpocket Launches New Idaho Lottery App
Lottery players in Idaho can buy tickets for various lottery games, including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Lucky for Life, Idaho Cash, Pick 3 and Pick 4.
The secure platform allows players to order tickets conveniently, view an image of their ticket(s), check lottery results and receive prizes up to $599 via their Jackpocket mobile app. Players must claim their prize from the Idaho Lottery if the winnings exceed that amount.
Jackpocket is offering players their first lottery ticket on the app for free to celebrate the launch. New players can receive a $2 lottery ticket after ing Jackpocket and entering the code HEYID at checkout.
