IGT, Texas Lottery Extend Provider Contract

International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has signed a new deal with the Texas Lottery Commission (TLC).

Following a competitive procurement, IGT received the 10-year scratch ticket printing and services contract for providing scratch ticket content and ing services.

The contract will extend IGT’s partnership with the Texas Lottery through August 2034.

IGT continues to provide Texas Lottery with lottery operations and services

IGT is the Texas Lottery’s exclusive supplier for the Loteria family of games. Loteria, available at six different price points ($1, $3, $5, $10, $20 and $50), generated more than $1.6 billion in sales in 2021.

Thanks to the new agreement, the Texas Lottery will continue to have access to IGT’s catalog of player-favorite games, licensed content and innovative designs and features.

Furthermore, IGT will provide the TLC with lottery operations and services, including its lottery central systems, data center operations, field sales organization, retail equipment and , warehouse and distribution, call center and marketing services.

A multitude of benefits for Texas players and retailers

IGT COO Global Lottery Jay Gendron said via release:

These industry-leading lottery products and ing operational services provide a multitude of benefits for players and retailers across the state. We look forward to building upon our longstanding partnership ing educational and veteran service organizations in Texas.”

As a global lottery market leader, IGT is currently the primary technology provider to eight of the world’s ten largest lotteries, with more than 40 long-term instant ticket service contracts across the globe.

Earlier this week, IGT ed forces with operator Station Casinos to implement its Resort Wallet and IGTPay cashless gaming modules.

IGT helped Texas Lottery generate over $35bn for good causes

Texas Lottery Commission’s Executive Director Gary Grief commented:

“Since our inception in 1992, IGT has been a valued partner and has helped the Texas Lottery generate more than $35bn in revenue for good causes. We look forward to IGT’s continued offering of innovative and entertaining scratch tickets in the years to come.”
