The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is right around the corner. Here at PlayUSA, we have curated the top five free bracket contests you can enter right now.

Selection Sunday is March 13, and the First Four Round is slated for March 15-16. Don’t forget March Madness betting is also legal in a number of states around the US, should you want to put some of your own money on the table.

So without further ado, let’s dive into some free NCAA bracket contests that will certainly break some hearts. 

BetMGM $10 Million Perfect Bracket Challenge

Our first free contest from a sports betting provider comes from BetMGM.

BetMGM has a guaranteed prize of $100,000 to the top contestant who submits the best bracket.

However, there’s more. 

If someone can navigate the 1 in 120.2 billion odds of picking a perfect bracket, you will win the grand prize of $10 million.

DraftKings $60K Bracket Battle & $30K Survivor Pool

DraftKings features its free $60K Bracket Battle and a $30,000 Survivor Pool.

Entry for the Battle is simple. Each round, you will be awarded points. Ten points for each correct pick in the Round of 64, 20 points for the Round of 32, etc.

First place (best bracket) will receive $2,500, second place $1,000, with 4th and 5th place each taking home $500. Even those who finish in the top-7000 can take home $1.

ESPN Tournament Challenge

Easily the most recognizable free contest, the 2022 ESPN Tournament Challenge, will be available Sunday, March 13.

is simple. the free ESPN Tournament App or head over to their website, create an , and start building your brackets. Since there is no entry cap, you can have anywhere from 1 to 100 or an infinite amount of brackets.  

This year, if you submit a top-scoring bracket, you will be automatically entered into the grand prize pool for a chance to win $100,000.

CBS Sports Bracket Challenge

Another favorite comes by way of CBS.

Similar to ESPN, The 2022 CBS Sports Bracket Challenge allows customers free entry and the ability to submit multiple brackets. 

The winner of the 2022 contest gets a trip for four to the 2023 Men’s Final Four and $6,000 in cash. 

Yahoo Fantasy Tourney Pick’Em

Our last free contest comes from Yahoo Fantasy.

The Yahoo Fantasy $25K Tourney Pick’Em is about as old as the ESPN contest. Much like all the others, entering is simple. 

Build your bracket by picking the winners of each game, and earn your shot at one of the top prizes. However, there is a cap limit. With Yahoo, you can only submit ten brackets.

At Yahoo, the grand prize is $25,000 plus an MGM Resorts Las Vegas vacation package ($10,000 value). Runner ups can win cash prizes ranging from $1 to $3,000.
