Design Works Gaming (DWG), the studio behind top-performing online casino games, continues to extend its offerings in Michigan.
After partnering with BetMGM, the gaming studio has added a second Michigan operator, DraftKings Casino. The deal builds upon Design Works Gaming’s successful launch with DraftKings in New Jersey on Sept. 13, 2022.
According to Design Works Gaming’s press release issued in September, DWG games have “performed strongly” in New Jersey. Moreover, DWG games have quickly become favorites among players of several casino operators in the state.
That may also be the case with the Michigan online casino market.
DWG and DraftKings continue Michigan online casino partnership
Thanks to the recently signed agreement, a selection of top-performing DWG titles is now available to DraftKings players in Michigan. These include Double Fancy 7s and 10X Fortune via Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.
DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said:
“DraftKings is one of the initial innovators of the US interactive market and they have carefully constructed a competitive, exciting ecosystem for their players.
The fact that their team has prioritized bringing DWG titles to every market as fast as possible really speaks to the quality of our content and how it resonates with their players.”
Design Works Gaming received the Michigan Gaming Control Board license in October 2021. Afterward, DWG was able to provide its games to casino operators in the state.
Back then, Zurawski said, “we’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country.”
DWG Games first entered Michigan with BetMGM
Michigan marked the second online gambling state DWG has entered. After launching in New Jersey last year, DWG made its way through Michigan players thanks to the agreement with BetMGM.
BetMGM features some of the most popular DWG titles, which has helped the company gain attention relatively quickly.
DWG’s entry into the Wolverine State was a reasonable step in its growth. Especially because many leading operators wish to include DWG titles in their offerings. Offering DWG games helps to attract new players and provides a competitive advantage.
Design Works Gaming currently holds licenses in four US states:
- New Jersey
- Michigan
- Pennsylvania
- Connecticut
