While Caesars already operated casinos in Indiana and has been taking bets on sporting events online in the state for a while as well, it has risen to a new level of visibility not just with Indianans but with motorsports fans across the globe. That’s all thanks to a new partnership between Caesars and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Part of the partnership will be a Caesars-themed betting lounge at the track. The lounge will be much more than just a home for signage reminding people of Caesars’ sponsorship, too.

Caesars – Indianapolis Motor Speedway partnership details

According to a press release, Caesars’ sponsorship comes with several perks for racing fans and the entertainment company itself. As is standard with partnerships of this kind, Caesars gets access to use IMS properties like trademarked logos.

Caesars will also get digital signage on the Speedway’s channels and social media assets. Furthermore, Caesars becomes a sponsor of the remaining races on the track’s calendar for this year, including the 2022 Indy 500 later this month.

For fans, this partnership means some new opportunities. Caesars will host exclusive VIP experiences for Caesars Rewards at the IMS, for example. s of Caesars’ sportsbook app can also take advantage of an promotion tied to the Indy 500.

Caesars is offering $106 in promo bets for new sportsbook app s who deposit at least $20 into their fresh s. This year marks the 106th running of the Indy 500, hence the bet amount.

Another perk that comes with that promotion is entry into the new Caesars Sportsbook Lounge at Pagoda Plaza. For racing fans, that element could be the jewel of this partnership.

Caesars lounge coming to IMS

The press release states that the Caesars Sportsbook Lounge at Pagoda Plaza is the “very first exclusive betting lounge at the Racing Capital of the World.” It will be open on public practice and race days. The lounge promises:

  • An “elevated viewing experience”
  • Branded giveaways during races
  • Complimentary beverages and food
  • Live entertainment
  • Racing games

Bettors should note that this will not be a retail sportsbook. There will be no betting kiosks or windows inside this lounge. Rather, all and any wagering will take place on s’ phones through their Caesars and other apps.

Legal online sportsbooks in Indiana first launched in October of 2019. Caesars ed the group of licensed operators in May of 2020. Caesars also runs the Harrah’s Hoosier Park, Horseshoe Hammond, and Horseshoe Indianapolis casinos in the state.

Now, Caesars has made a major move to become a force in competing for Indiana bettors’ attention. At the very least, Caesars will provide some new amenities and experiences for those who take in IMS races in person.
